Okay, seeing as everyone is Mithrafooting around this topic, here it is. I WANT TO KILL MAMMETS!!!The EmptyKillers have successfully slaughtered the Minitor of 2-3. The time has come for us to move on in the CoP storyline. There are plenty of us that are on this chapter of CoP (2.5 Ancient Vows) and others that will be (as soon as they get off their Galka butts and get the cutscenes). What we need: - Cutscenes and access to Rivernse- Site # A01
- 40 cap gear
- Help from friends (Upon killing the mammets you will be booted to Bastok. It will take help from people that have cleared this CoP chapter to help make sure everyone that shows up has a chance at killing these 3 unsleepable mobs. Plus, who is going to turn down there experience )
There are several different setups that I have heard of... For more on Ancient Vows and how to make sure you have the proper CS please check HerePlease reply with your suggestions and ideas.

Doing the Mammets is, all things considered, a fairly easy fight if you have a good setup, and a group of people that can remain calm in tight situations.
However, it's important to note that you'll reach a point in CoP where doing things as a huge group isn't the best way to go about it anymore. In truth, after the Promyvions, virtually everything in CoP is for dedicated 6-person groups. And make no mistake, CoP rewards persistence. Things can move along very quickly if you have 6 people that are willing to move forward at a consistent pace. The key is finding a good party (and despite folks saying that certain jobs can or can't do CoP, the truth is that any competent player can contribute substantially to every single fight and mission) and then sticking together.
That being said, there are plenty of "farming runs" that can be done with large groups of people — for fights like Mammets, and "The Savage" later on, you'll need items in order to cross the zones (in this case a Giant Wyvern Scale to open up Unstable Displacements). Of course, the other side of it is that, just like the Promyvion zones, each fight in CoP has multiple ENMs attached to it... so taking a week to do a Pilgrimage to one of the fights could yield both mission completions and ENM fights.
It all depends on how you want to plan them. Will Emptykillers be more than just a Promyvion group? Will it be a CoP group? Will the "Empty" described in the name include all Empty Notorious Monsters?
It can work if everyone is diligent in completing in-between cutscenes (of which there are many) so that they're ready to tackle the next zone or next fight. If people can do footwork in-between weekend runs, we could conceivably have a group that moves people through CoP with ease, on a regular basis. It would be quite an achievement, I'll tell you that much.
